General Perspective:
QA Engineer driven by personal and professional growth with 4+ years of experience in QA Engineer/ Software Engineer positions. Great English and communication skills, as well as a great attitude towards team collaboration. Has experience with multiple Testing systems and technologies. Demonstrated history of testing automation in standard and customized frameworks preferably Playwright. Able to create and maintain Automation Tests both for Frontend and Backend. Able to integrate automation tests to development process through CI/CD.
Primary Functions:
- Plan, design, execute and maintain test cases for all aspects of the software application (Frontend, Backend, etc)
- Triage, troubleshoot and document defects
- Design and perform automated tests at frontend and backend level.
- Perform functional/non-functional, Sanity/smoke and Regression tests to guarantee releases meet design specifications and client requirements.
- Document QA processes and evaluate results.
Work Experience and Academic Background:
- 4+ years of experience with test automation frameworks
- Education: Term student or STEM career engineer. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Skills: Proactive, Communicative, Responsible, Critical Thinking and Detailed oriented.
Required Knowledge:
- Intermediate-advanced knowledge of programming technologies.
- Experience designing and performing automated tests for Frontend and Backend (API/GraphQL/Webservices)
- Knowledge in Agile Methodology, preferably SCRUM.
- Experience working with database systems. (SQL server, Oracle, MySQL).
- The proven ability to translate functional requirements and use cases into working test plans and test cases.
- Experience using test case management tools
- Knowledge of systems architecture.
Special Requirements
- Clinical Trials/Health care industry experience
- Familiarity with Documentation for CFR part 11 compliance (Electronic Records; Electronic
- Signatures, Validation)
- Playwright automation, API Testing
Work Conditions:
- The employee will work seated at their workstation for extended hours in an air-conditioned office.
- The role involves using electronic tools such as a laptop, monitor, mouse, and other necessary equipment.
- This position requires frequent visual interaction with screens, extensive reading and writing tasks, and both verbal and non-verbal communication.
