General Perspective:

Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, with experience in Angular, Node.js, PostgreSQL hosted in AWS RDS. Will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, resilient, performant, and scalable enterprise cloud applications. Will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end functionality, while delivering well-architected, reusable code that follows best practices.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver scalable, performant, and maintainable full-stack solutions using Angular, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Write clean, reusable code that adheres to team standards and best practices
• Conduct thorough, automated testing (unit tests) to ensure high-quality in every deliverable.

Minimum Requirements

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience 

• 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, specializing in Node.js, Angular, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with other frontend frameworks (such as React or VueJS) a plus
• Experience working in teams that follow the SCRUM methodology
• Experience developing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or others, and understanding of how those tools help speed up the SDLC

Skills 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Deep understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English, both in written and spoken form
• Proficient in English.

Knowledge

• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js and Express.js
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience working with cloud services and cloud service providers, AWS a plus
• Experience with the Git version control system.

Work Environment:

• The employee will work while seated at their workstation for extended hours in an air-conditioned office.
• The role involves using electronic tools such as a laptop, monitor, mouse, and other necessary equipment.
• This position requires frequent visual interaction with screens, extensive reading and writing tasks, and both verbal and non-verbal communication.
