DESCRIPTION
Mid-tier Full-stack Software Engineer, with experience in VB.NET, and NodeJS. Will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, resilient, performant, and scalable enterprise cloud applications. Will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end functionality, while delivering well- architected, reusable code that follows best practices
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver scalable, performant, and maintainable full-stack solutions using VB.NET and NodeJS.
- Write clean, reusable code that adheres to team standards and best practices.
- Conduct thorough, automated testing (unit tests) to ensure high-quality in every deliverable.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, specializing in VB.NET development. Experience building and maintaining NodeJS applications.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in VB.NET development. Strong proficiency working with NodeJS. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and clean code practices. Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English, both in written and spoken form.
Knowledge
- Experience working with cloud services and cloud service providers. VB.NET and the .NET Framework, as well as NodeJS.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or others, and understanding of how those tools help speed up the SDLC.
- Experience working in teams that follow the SCRUM methodology.
- Experience with the Git version control system.
- Proficient in English.
